The European Union (EU) and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) are international organizations integrating member states, primarily in the economic field. Both organizations guarantee four economic freedoms: free movement of goods, services, labor, and capital. One of these freedoms:free movement of services is particularly important. W artykule omówiono prawne aspekty swobody przepływu towarów w Unii Euroazjatyckiej i Unii Europejskiej. W tym względzie przeanalizowano podobieństwa i różnice w zakresie klasyfikacji i definicji towarów obu organizacji. Oprócz tego określono podobieństwa i różnice w odniesieniu do unii celnej i wspólnego rynku obu organizacji, a także w zakresie ograniczeń swobody przepływu unijnych i euroazjatyckich towarów. Autor przedstawił też ewentualne scenariusze w zakresie ustanowienia nowych regulacji prawnych dotyczących wymiany handlowej pomiędzy EAUG i UE

Zarówno Euroazjatycka Unia Gospodarcza (EAUG) jak i Unia Europejska (UE) zostały powołane przez państwa członkowskie, gdyż państwa te nie były w stanie reprezentować wystarczająco skutecznie swoich interesów, a miały nadzieje, że uczynią to utworzone organizacje międzynarodowe. Z tego też powodu państwa członkowskie EAUG i UE przekazały na rzecz tytułowych organizacji międzynarodowych własne suwerenne uprawnienia. Zakres prerogatyw analizowanych organizacji stał się zatem wypadkową szacunków poszczególnych państw członkowskich, w myśl których organizacja, wyposażona w ograniczone, lecz zbiorowe uprawnienia członków, będzie mogła lepiej reprezentować interesy każdego pojedynczego państwa niż…
